Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. Please read the information below before deleting your account.

This action is permanent

Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data from our servers. This action cannot be undone.

What will be deleted:

  • Your account and profile information
  • All recipes synced to the cloud
  • Your collections and organizational data
  • Subscription and purchase history association

What will NOT be deleted:

  • Recipes stored locally on your device (you can keep using the app without an account)
  • Your subscription (managed by Google Play - cancel separately if needed)

How to delete your account:

Option 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)

  1. Open Snap Recipes on your device
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  3. Scroll down and tap Account
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision

Option 2: Request via Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email. Please include the email address associated with your account.

Processing Time

Account deletions are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted. During this period, your account will be deactivated and your data will not be accessible.

Don't forget to cancel your subscription

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. To avoid future charges, please cancel your subscription through Google Play:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
  3. Find Snap Recipes and tap Cancel subscription
